How do I keep my team aligned when we're scaling fast and everyone's underwater?
Chris's brain

The trap when you're scaling is assuming alignment is a communication problem — it's usually a priority problem. Three things I'd do this week:

(1) Write the one outcome that matters this quarter and kill anything not serving it. (2) Have each lead restate that outcome back in their own words — misalignment shows up fast. (3) A 15-minute weekly "what did we say no to?" check.

Should I let my strongest performer go if they're toxic to the team?
Chris's brain

That's a real one — and honestly it depends on specifics I shouldn't guess at (the person, your context, what you've already tried). The principle Chris teaches: culture is set by the worst behaviour you tolerate from your best people.

But the actual call for your situation is exactly the kind of thing worth a live conversation.
